- Is this a real QuickBooks Merchant
Services merchant account?
a) Yes. We are an authorized sales
office of Innovative Merchant Solutions
(IMS). IMS provides the processing
services for QuickBooks Merchant
Services. We will establish your
merchant account with QuickBooks
Merchant Services.
- Are the fees the same as the fees
listed on the QuickBooks website?
a)
If you apply through our office, some
fees are actually lower such as:
- The monthly fee which is reduced from $19.95 (as advertised at
quickbooks.com) to $14.95 (savings of
$5/mo).
- The $59.95 setup fee is waived
as well. All other fees as advertised at
quickbooksmerchantservices.com will apply.
- Is the QuickBooks Software
really FREE?
a) You
will receive the latest version of
QuickBooks Simple Start or Pro software,
depending on your needs, via download within
one to two business days of your merchant account
approval. This is a full version and not
an academic, or limited feature version.
If you do not have a high speed internet
connection, we will mail you the
software.
- Can I get the FREE QuickBooks Pro
software and lower fees if I apply
directly with QuickBooks?
a) No. If
you apply at quickbooks.com, or call
their 800 number, or apply through your
QuickBooks software interface or,
QuickBooks will charge you a $59.95
setup fee, a $19.95 monthly fee and $299
for the software. You must apply for
your QuickBooks Merchant Services
account thru our office. Call
800-221-0528 to apply, or apply
here online.
- I already have a QuickBooks Merchant
Services account. Can I reapply thru
your office to get the lower fees and
free software?
a) No. This offer is
opened to new merchants only.
- I already own a copy of QuickBooks.
Can I still apply through your office?
a)
Yes. You can also receive another copy
of the software if you wish. You will
receive the lower fee structure
regardless of whether you want another
copy of the software.
- Do I need anything other than
QuickBooks software to accept credit
cards?
a) Yes. You need an Internet
connection. You can process credit card
transactions right within QuickBooks
which will connect via the Internet to
approve the transactions. You will also
be able to process credit cards online
through a Virtual Terminal. This is
handy if you do not have access to the
computer which your QuickBooks software
resides on. Transactions processed thru
the Virtual Terminal will sync with your
QuickBooks program the next time you are
able to connect to the Internet with the
computer the software is on.

To qualify for the lower card-swiped rate you will need either a card reader for
your computer, or a credit card terminal, Both are reasonably priced if you do
not have one. Contact us for current pricing.
- Can you send, fax or email me the
application?
a) No. We only take
applications online or over the phone. This allows
us to answer any questions you may have,
explain the program, determine if this
type of account will meet your needs, and make sure the
application is completed accurately for
the underwriters review.
- How long will it take to do the
application?
a) 10 to 15 minutes
providing you have all your business
information, owner/office information
and banking information at the time of
the application.
- How long does it take to get
approved for a merchant account?
a) Typically one to two business
days. If the underwriters need
additional information, it can take
a few more days. Merchants should
always apply for their QuickBooks
Merchant Services merchant account
two weeks to 30 days before the time
they will actually need to accept
credit cards. Applying 30 days before actually needing
the account is recommended to insure you
have received your software and have
been properly trained
